
A regular yoga practice will improve muscle tone, increase stamina and help ease the stress associated with modern day living. Many sportsmen and women are turning to yoga as they discover that it cansignificantly help improve their performance within their chosen discipline.

I have practised yoga for over 20 years, and trained as a Sivananda Yoga teacher in 2002. After teaching general classes for some time, I was diagnosed with MS in 2007. My interest then grew inpractising and teaching yoga more gently. I trained to teach yoga to people with MS in 2010, and taught at the MS Therapy Centre in Warminster. I am also a qualified Yoga Therapist, having done my training with the Devon School of Yoga.

I'm based in Staverton, Wiltshire and firmly believe a little bit of everything balances you out - red wine, steaks covered in stilton, loud music and Yoga with my children make me one happy Yogi. Iaim to make my classes accessible to everyone so all levels are welcome; my approach to Yoga is relaxed and fun.

The Magna Yoga Sanctuary is a lovingly restored Old 18th century Chapel and School nestling in thevalley of the tiny delightful picturesque hamlet of Fontmell Magna amidst beautiful Dorset within the nature and elements of deepest rolling countryside, .

Pure Moves is a friendly multi discipline movement and holistic therapies centre serving Somerset and Wiltshire with dedicated studios in the middle of the lovely town of Frome. We have classes taughtby the area's leading practitioners for all levels. The teachers are fully qualified and the rooms are comfortable and warm. We have a wide range of therapies practiced by caring and leading professionals. As well as our regular classes there are specialist weekend workshops throughout the year.

I teach traditional Hatha Yoga to people of all ages and abilities in Chippenham, Calne, Melksham, Devizes, Bromham, Derry Hill, Bowood and Pewsham. Mixed classes take place in community buildings,such as schools and social centers. I want to make yoga available and accessible to people within the everyday context of ordinary life: work, family, relationships, home. I also teach one-to-one classes, school groups and corporate lifestyle and wellbeing courses.

We have been teaching yoga since 1971/1972 and have been applying and adapting the principles of yoga in Mind, Body and Spirit. When you come to us you will have fun AND be safe. Not only will yourbody be stretched so will your mind and if you haven't been to a yoga class before that's ok to, you'll be amazed what you can do. If you can breathe you can do yoga, the hardest part is showing up! Glen is a Senior Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance with over 30 years of teaching yoga.

You are advised to be well hydrated before practising hot yoga, so drink plenty of water prior to the class and try to avoid caffeine. During the class, take frequent sips of water and drink morewater after the class ends. You will need a towel and preferably your own mat for hygiene reasons, although mats will be available if required.

With Embrace Yoga this is just what we do, on an individual level bringing together body, mind, breath, energy and spirit. And also on a group level, as we gather together from all walks of life tounite in a common goal for health, happiness, stillness and peace. Hayley's Embrace Yoga classes welcome beginners and experienced practitioners alike, and are held each week in studios in Wimborne, Blandford and Bournemouth. One-to-one classes are also available.

Yogatree offer Iyengar Yoga classes in Chippenham, Corsham. Bradford on Avon and Biddestone. Lydia Holmes and Edgar Stringer are fully qualified Iyengar Yoga teachers. We teach beginners classes inthe North Wiltshire area, covering Bath, Box, Malmesbury, Calne, Melksham, Trowbridge, Marshfield, Colerne, Yatton Keynall and Castle Combe. We also run more advanced courses for improvers, private pregnancy yoga and offer individual tuition.
