For many years I have had a particular interest in people's wellbeing, both physically and mentally. Being a mum, having run my own business and having experienced a number of life's major challenges I understand the stresses and strains that can occur in everyday life.
My husband has had a bad back for several years and after his osteopath recommended that he took up yoga, we both started lessons. I soon realised that yoga is the traditional background for many of my beliefs and a way in which I can help others embrace life's challenges, seeing them as opportunities to learn and grow.
As our lessons progressed I increasing enjoyed both the physical and mental benefits that yoga gave me and decided I wanted to learn more. I therefore studied Vinyasa yoga with Debbie Avani at Yoga Ananda in Reigate and qualified as an RYT200 teacher with Yoga Alliance UK. I now teach both open class and private lessons in Winchester, Romsey and the surrounding areas.
