In my own practice I incorporate the Yoga teachings as well as Ayurveda, using a physical Yoga (hatha) practice, breathing (pranayama) and meditation as well as massage therapies and healthyvegetarian cookery to enhance the whole life experience. My focus is on the psychological as well as the physical effects of Yoga, using this therapeutically within Yoga classes or on a one to one basis.
I have been practising yoga for over ten years. I'm also a qualified Physics teacher, and have taught for over 22 years, mainly in Torbay. I originally started practising yoga because of it's stressrelieving and relaxation benefits, and for the physical benefits of greater flexibility. I enjoyed it so much that I decided to train to be a qualified yoga teacher. I offer one to one or small group tuition in client's homes or my own in Torquay, as well as group classes.
