In 2014, we introduced Yoga to our Peterborough and Tansor (near Oundle) practices. Healing yoga works in a holistic way with techniques of using the body, mind and breath to promote well-being. Thereis an emphasis on an intelligent and respectful approach to practice that is beneficial and causes no harm. Stresses and strains in life manifest in the body, breath and mind, such as physical tension, worrying thoughts and the inability to sleep.

Santosha Yoga was set up in 2005 by yoga teacher Andrea Kwiatkowski. She wanted to create a website that was friendly and interactive to the yoga community and offered something special, a way tointerlink the yogic teachings that were so precious and how to live them in the modern world. Inspired by her yoga teachers Sharon Gannon and David Life the creators of the Jivamukti yoga method she came up with Santoshayoga. The word Santosha is an ancient word in Sanskrit meaning contentment.
Yoga and Pilates both came along in the mid 1990's - at a time I was struggling with a back injury - very quickly I was reminded of a deep rooted instinct we all have to take some time out, slow downfor a moment, to take a deep breath and to stretch out tight muscles. Impressed and intrigued with the results from both methods I decided to train to teach. Since qualifying I have been busy teaching in and around Peterborough, Cambridgeshire.
