
A lot of our students are participating in these races and we decided that in honour of our lovely students, we would like to give it a whirl and get involved in the action! We will be poweringthrough these challenges and then heading to the studio for our Saturday 1.15pm Hot Vinyasa & Yoga Mixed class. Kirstie completed her International Level 1 instructor certification in Kundalini yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan in April 2007 and most recently qualified as a baby yoga instructor in September 2008.Along with having an established daily practice Kirstie continues to develop her knowledge and experience by participating in various workshops. This class is open to all levels of yogi. Expect to be challenged, physically and mentally. We will move through different sequences each week, always focusing on building strength and grace. MindBody YOGA is a yoga teaching organisation, directed by Tracy Macfarlane (RYT) - a recognised and accredited yoga teacher by the Independent Yoga Network. Tracy is committed to learning andteaching about yoga and the chakra system, and offers yoga and meditation classes, yoga workshops, and is the principal tutor for ChillOut Yoga in Scotland.

I committed more and more to my practice and before too long my inner journey became my driving force. It was whilst in Canada in 2003 that I decided to commit my life to sharing the Ishayas'meditation teaching I have been practising since 1998. I regularly teach classes throughout Scotland and help run a regular weekly meditation group in Edinburgh. For a number of years I have taught hatha yoga on retreats and in workshops, but a desire grew to offer classes to a wider audience.

I have been doing yoga for over 20 years, yoga sustains and enlivens me. In the early 90s I started doing yoga regulary, took it more seriously in my first pregnancy, and started training to teachyoga in 2003. I have been lucky to train and learn from some wonderful teachers. My aim is to keep developing, and to offer that passion to my classes so others can experience the vitality and calm that yoga can bring.

Sunshine finished teacher training in yoga under yogi Vishvketu under Yoga Alliance USA and is also Level 3 Yoga Teacher on the Register of Exercise Professionals here in the UK. Shehas been teaching for the past 10 years. She he embarked on a formal study of Tibetan Buddhism and completed the Asian Classics Insitute 18 courses. The 18 ACI courses condense the essence of the Six Great Books of Buddhism.

I was born in Hertfordshire in 1967, grew up in London and came to Edinburgh in 1986 to study at Edinburgh University and College of Art. I now live in Leith with my husband and daughter. I have beenpracticing yoga for 27 years (attending my first class, with Elaine Pidgeon, at Edinburgh Iyengar Yoga Centre in 1986). Regular practice of yoga helps to bring everything into balance - all the systems of the body; circulation, respiration, hormonal, digestion.
