Maya Yoga House is located 45 km northwest of the capital city of Croatia, Zagreb, in the heart of croatian famous hills of Zagorje. House is situated on a small hill at an altitude of 160 m,surrounded by garden with organic fruits and vegetables. Our studio is warm and welcoming space with lots of daily light. It offers glorious views of the famous Zagorje hills, forests, wild flowers and green valleys. Work in a small groups ensure our commitment to individualized attention.
When I started my journey with yoga it was an immense feeling of relief, both in my body and spirit. Her range of studies is extensive and non dogmatic. In addition to trainings in yoga therapy,meditation and pranayama her additional studies span from modern understandings of anatomy, neuroscience and embryology through to ancient practices of Tibetan Healing Yoga (Kum Nye), Sanskrit, Vedic chant, Ayurveda and yoga philosophy.
She enjoys teaching at number of Health Clubs in North London, where she often has classes of about 20 students. Elaine started to really appreciate yoga when she had arthritis in the hip and wasunable to walk without crutches in her early 20's and had to learn to slowly increase the strength and mobility back into her hip.
North London Yoga Studio was set up by Jackie Lee and Indira Das-Gupta, two popular local teachers who wanted to keep Yoga accessible to all. My name is Ivana. I'm a yoga practitioner, a teacher and a mum to a lively toddler who makes me learn something new every day.
