About the Business

Julie has been practicing yoga for over 20 years and it has become life's ambition to pass her knowledge on to others. She undertook her intensive three years training with the British Wheel of Yoga qualifying in April 2006, since then she has been teaching in the Whitehaven area.

Julie has always been interested in the spiritual aspect of yoga and how this can help keep the mind steady during challenging times in our lives. As a result of this she began Mindfulness training at the Samye-Ling Monastery in Scotland during 2007. The training was completed in 2009 and Julie is now a qualified mindfulness facilitator. Also in 2009 Julie joined the Sivananda Ashram in Scotland for a month's intensive teacher training and qualified as a Sivananda instructor.
