Mita Shah

Mita has been interested in the practice of yoga, spirituality and healthy living since her youth. She graduated from Kings College, University of London, with a degree in Biochemistry and subsequently trained in Accountancy. Alongside her successful career in the City, she continued to study and practise yoga, meditation and health therapies and inspire those around her. Mita qualified as a yoga teacher with the Vivekananda Yoga Research Foundation in Bangalore in 1992 and has been teaching ever since.

She also teaches meditation techniques. Mita's additional qualifications include an ITEC Diploma in Reflexology, Indian Head Massage, ITEC and MTI diploma in Holistic Massage, Anatomy and Physiology and Prenatal Massage. She is also featured in Miriam Stoppard's DVD 'Having a Baby'. Mita is an Isha Meditator. Isha Foundation, founded by Sadhguru, is a non-religious, non-profit, public service organization, which addresses all aspects of human wellbeing.
